1. About ViitPay

ViitPay is a financial technology platform that enables users to send and receive payments using a unique user ID instead of cards, account numbers, or bank apps. Payments are processed through secure bank APIs and mobile money integrations.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use ViitPay
• You must complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification before making or receiving payments
• You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information

3. Creating an Account

• Each user will be assigned a unique user ID (e.g., JonahYakubu007)
• You are responsible for keeping your PINs, passwords, devices, and credentials secure
• You may not share, transfer, or sell your ViitPay ID

4. Using ViitPay

• You can use your ViitPay ID to make payments, receive money, and link bank accounts or mobile wallets
• All transactions require authorization via Transaction PIN, OTP, or biometric verification
• Once a transaction is confirmed, it cannot be reversed, unless required by law or regulation

5. Fees

• ViitPay may charge a transaction fee or service charge for payments
• Fees will be disclosed at the time of transaction
• Additional fees may apply for cross-bank or cross-border payments

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use ViitPay for:

• Money laundering, terrorism financing, or illegal activities
• Fraudulent transactions or impersonation
• Sending misleading, abusive, or harmful content through the platform

7. Security & Liability

ViitPay uses encryption, device binding, and fraud detection systems to protect users.

You are responsible for keeping your device and login credentials secure.

ViitPay is not responsible for losses caused by:

• Unauthorized access due to your negligence
• Incorrect entry of recipient IDs
• Bank or network downtime outside ViitPay's control

8. Suspension & Termination

ViitPay may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You attempt fraud or suspicious activity
• Required by law or regulatory authorities

9. Dispute Resolution

• All disputes will first be handled by ViitPay's Customer Support team
• If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to mediation or arbitration in Nigeria

10. Changes to Terms

ViitPay may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified via app, email, or SMS before changes take effect.
